I never replaced mine since my GTI came with the C version. My model is AWD since it is an early 2001 model from Germany...
I never had surging for the first year after I put in my APR. That leads me to believe that maybe my N75 solenoid has been worn out or something..
I might just buy the F version to see how it behaves in my car...
Perhaps we can swap the N75 valves to see if it helps in one of our cars..
I can also give You a diffeent DV to see I your problem might be cured.

We can try my old F N75 to see what happens on your car. We can even try my new C N75. PM me when you want to get together to try this.

Today I have replaced my MAF sensor and (just as I suspected) my surging and slight hesitation is completely gone. The car hasn't pulled like this for months now. What a difference.!!!!!!!!!!!!
It wasn't cheap ($340) but well worth the results.
Thinking back to the time this has started..hmmmm..I started to surge about the same time as I have put in an Amsoil Foam drop-in filter.Perhaps the oil has contaminated my MAF (most likely). There was a debate about it on Vortex some time ago however it was quickly dismissed. On the other side, I remember a lot of ppl from Europe swearing by it. Perhaps this is worth a try for other ppl as well.
