Hey guys! I am new to this site, it is really cool!! I have a 95 Golf III. I really like my car. I am the 5th owner so i had to do all this stuff to it, clutch, water pump, timing belt, cerpentine belt..... The normal stuff for a 10 year old car. I was told that i have to replace the rear break cylinders. How hard is something like this to do? I put on a Short ram air filter on my car. I know that is nothing compared to what ya'll do, but for me that was an accomplishment. the only thing that i spent some money on was rims and wheels. the car is in great shape for the year and all.
Anyway, i have a few questions.
1) Where can i get a replacement windshield washer fluid tank? Mine has a crack in it.
2) Where can i get the parts for the wheel cylinders? Dealer???
I was given an est. for the wheel cylinders and they said 260 for parts and labor. is that a good deal; or is that a rip off? is that something that i could maybe do myself, with a little help from someone who knows what they are doing?
There were some other questions that i had, but i can't think of them now. I will post them later. I am really glad that i found this site. It seems like it has a lot of good info.
Thanks in advance!!! I will post some pics later......
