The dyno had scales? The weight you used was very incorrect unless you were using a car that was at full capacity...a quick google or better still, trip to a weigh scale will get you a much better number to use in your Gtech. You should be closer to 3100 than 4000 which will make a BIG difference to the displayed HP on the Gtech.

I think I have weighed my car in at something like 3300 lbs, I can't remember exactly but definitely under 3500 on a scale.

I took the 05 Jetta to the highway scales and it weighed in at 1450 KG with the driver and the fuel tank at 1/4

I did a run with the module attached and one without using the updated weight. These are Net HP and Torque readings.

Got my 04 PD Chipped a few days ago, must say its a night and day difference. I defintly recommend it to anyone, and Simon is great to deal with. Still some smoking from the car, so I'll give it a few days to see if it gets better. Other than that it is fantastic, worth every penny.

Has any one ever seen a TDI with propane injection. Also I want to get the Zender body kit but dont like the idea of getting it done by Concept one to have to get it painted somewheres else, any suggestions?

Theres a couple pics in here so far but hopefully it it will be looking a whole lot different for summer!!

                      Re: Tunning A TDI

Well must say that the module makes it a much more playfull ride hopefully I can find some one with just the chip added in to try it out against. Does anyone know if a blow off valve improves Diesel engines? Anyone done it?

Thanks Joe for getting me set up!

(p.s - it does nothing but make noise on a TDI i believe)

I blowoff value will come very close to destroying your engine. The turbos in TDIs are a VNT tubro (viarable vane) therefor the vane pitch changes as per the ecus request creating more or less boost (therefore where our great low end torque comes from). Using a blowoff will screw everything up to the extreme.
