I was going to install the VW/Eibach springs but I am going to hold off until the roads in the NW improve. My question is, will a rear and/or front sway bar help with body roll and such? I don't actually mind the ride height of the stock sport suspension on my GTI 1.8T but hate the body roll. If adding sway bars could keep the comfort of the stock ride and improve body roll I would be all for it. Any comments or insights?

I have put in Eibach Pro Kit springs before the ABD rear sway..It has made a noticable diference.
BUT, After I have installed the ABD ..wow...much much better...I love it...I recently drove a new 24V GTI and hated the body roll..It felt like a fat piece of Penne...
I can only imagine the improvement when I put in ProDampers next..so far, my springs on stock shocks are quite fine (for almost 40,000km).
But the rear sway is going to reduce the swaying from left to right severly .
The only part I hated was drilling those damn holes in the rear beam.. Make sure You get yourslef a decent drill and titanium bits..
and make sure You align the holes properly or You might drill more than a few extra holesGTI 1.8T APR (with Upgrade Interface),Hyberboost,Eibach Pro Kit,ABD rear sway
