Does anyone have any honest feedback about the Clubsport suspension from Autotech? It looks OK and the price is reasonable right now..

It is odd that there has been no one trying these. They have sachs dampers and carry a lifetime warranty. If I were to get them in, they would be approx $600 for all springs and dampers!

That was my thought. For a budget system, this seems really good and I have been so impressed with some of their other stuff.

I think they are a good kit and come with good quality stuff (obviously no personal experience), my main concern was that it wouldn't go low enough. It sounded like they wouldn't even go 50/50, but that's hard to say because they say that the spring can be adjusted in the spring pocket to correct your height. ??

Oh, this was for EMKay3 though, not sure about emkay4's

I am tempted... but don't want a harsh ride.

Why ya hatin' on the FK? The cost about the same, and have lifetime warranty on them as well? I really like mine, and am pretty sure TurboMedic still likes his?

Springs &Shocks combo right? I think that is not act of hatred. Better put this suspension kit as a better alternative.

I cannot speak for their coils but Sachs Race Engineering ( a.k.a. the damper that we are talking here ) has been in the racing scene many years long before the FK brand rose up from a tiny bitzy company.

I will definitely go with this Sachs kit because they are well known good quality and is a good history car parts manufacturing company.

I'm kinda tempted as well. What is the drop as I do not want to be too low. Would you offer any deals for the first test monkey? I might be interested but would need to get it installed by someone. Anywhere where I could do this for a good price?

I think I may have to get in on this as the more I think about it, the more my car will look stupid with 16" wheels and stock height.

There seems to be nothing but good things to say about the Clubsport kit, Autotech doesn't seem to be big on posting "drop" as they seem to be more performance minded rather than simply just dropping the car (but that's just my opinion) and frankly, every car is going to be a bit different. On the box it apparantly says drops "up to 2 inches". I was reluctant at first about the drop but seeing is everything. I did some looking around and found some threads on vortex.

And in this one if you go about 3/4 of the way down there is some big pics of a Jetta on the kit (you just click on 'em)

Its okay, I have it too, but I think that the more FK stuff I buy the more dissilusioned I become...
