  • Changing spark plugs (need tool)

As it says above,I have just over 80,000 on the 2.0 golf and i believe that it is well due for a change.

My only problem is I do not have this "special boot pulling tool".

My question for you guys is, Is this tool necessary? and if so where would I get my hands on one?

Is it difficult to do this on my own?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    thanks

]It's an easy process. If you know what your doing of course. You should have had your plugs done on your 64K service. You shouldn't need them again till your
    96k or your 128k service.

I am not sure if it is the smae tool as the VR6 but you can find it here. Do you have the bently manual? If so what does that say?

You can do it but you don't want to hazzard ripping an ignition boot with pliers.
Where are you located? I can help out with the install.

Well it is good to know that is the same one I linked too. Metalnerd is good to deal with and have decent prices. I am just waiting for my preproduction tools to arrive from them

                          Big thanks to Dave.

He lent me his tool and it worked great. I would not reccomend doing this yourself without this tool.

                          Thanks again Dave!!!!!!
