I score lots in mine! They are cool none the less. I will get a price for just shirts. It will be next Tuesday when I see the dude next. These uniforms are VW Brand Standard. So all the dealers that conform to this standard have them. I'd prefer 5th ave's tech uniform though.

There still continues to be speculation on what various lace colours mean, but in the end, it really means nothing more than that individual's choice to put that colour on their boots. Personal reasons will almost always contradict the generally assumed meaning for the colours, but here is a basic guide...

These rules also apply slightly to Braces, scroll down to braces section to see exceptions.

Black: New boots, haven't replaced the included laces yet or worn them down to necessitate buying a new pair.

White: One of the most popular colours to wear on black or dark boots, simply because the contrast is striking and it looks sharp. Shows off straight lacing especially well. Also assumed to be white pride/white power, but too many people are seen with white laces to be able assume this as truth nowadays.

Red: Red laces on black boots are just as striking as white. This colour has been adopted by everyone and like white laces, are too common to really mean anything. Anti racists and boneheads alike wear them. Some cities red indicates anti-racist politics (north east) and others it means nazi (south), so much for that... You may be seeing a lot more red laces and braces thanks to that no-good god-awful SPIN magazine article.

Yellow (on Oxblood): This means you're Ronald McDonald... as tacky as this combination actually is, it's very common/popular in Atlanta.

Blue: Straight Edge (sXe) or Cop Killer... both not very common or valid reasons anymore. Might signify White Power sXe nowadays.

Yellow (on Black): Many weird reasons, most common was violent
SHARP (Skin Head Against Racial Predjudice).

Green: Irish, eco freak, you like green laces...

Pink: RudeGirl, Gay Skinhead or Gay Basher.

I don't get it? Do you guys intend to buy these uniforms to work on your cars at home and play VW technician? LOL If so, why? $70 seems like alot of money to spend on clothes to get greasy and dirty

The wife & I like to play dress up. I want her to know how I feel when I take the car in for repairs. J/K

Really though, I just like the shirt. I would not wear it to work on the car. That is what I have my coveralls for.

I need to know the total count on uni's. Please submit wether you would like pants and shirt or just shirt. Also include sizes needed. I have to tell the Cintas guy this week so I can get a firm price on everything.
