Just got back from my wheel mounting extravaganza. Picked up the last two rims from AWR and they look good -- no sign of the big gouges. Then picked up my tires from Tunerworks and got em mounted at Harper's. Harper's was very professional and friendly. Looks like they did a good job. i'll post pics soon.

I got 235 and I regret it. If I did it again 225 or even smaller since I have seen 225's on several cars and it didn't look too stretched...

I have 235's on mine and they don't look too bad......Waiting a couple days to see, gonna bring one of my other rims in for comparison of colour and stuff....

So I phoned awr yesterday and ranted to the lady on the phone. I said 6 months was way to F$&ken long to get things right. Santos was suppost to call me today but never did. I am going to phone them again tomorrow and rip some more heads off.

I find I'm more effective if I'm in person....I would do the same if I were you....Phonecalls never work, and never get you anywhere....You need to go there, and tell them what's up!

I suggest you bug their office, then park a van out front and listen-in. Make sure to record everything that happens on a reel-to-reel.

Also, it's not going to help to rant at the lady on the phone, as she probably has nothing to do with the delay. It'll only make them less willing to help. Go to the source, my man, go to the source!

Sooo, update on my rim....I got the call today that mine was done, so I decided to take another one down, and use it for comparison when I picked up so that there was no discrepancy....I brought mine in, and she brought the other one out, and as it turns out, its the wrong colour!! Thay gave it a more gunmetal grey than the "super silver" look.....................It was a nice colour, and it would have looked good on the car, had I got all 4 of them done......so, I had them side by side, and another customer in there agreed it was done too dark, so the lady said she was gonna get Santo.....So he came out, and I just said I think its a little darker, and he agreed, and said he would redo it no prob, no questions asked, so I left another rim there for him to compare to......Hopefully its done before I leave on the 10th, if not, I guess its sitting there for a few weeks! All in all, I'd have to say that the service I have gotten there seems to be above the usual, I'm not sure if thats because I'm cheery when I'm talking with them, but all my requests and concerns were addressed (even left in the old "dress up bolts", and you can't see where it was masked!), and no hassles yet.....sure he said they'd be done in 4 days, and it took 2 weeks, but hey, I wasn't using them.....I guess we'll see what happens in a bit!

It would be hilarious if you go to pick them up and they are both the darker finish From what I have read about AWR there is a good chance that could happen

O/T but I don't really like the milanos in black... my plan for next summer is to get Milanos, and powdercoat the centre a lighter gunmetal.
