  • Pictures for the new DnF Webpage.

RussellB is making a new webpage for DnF Motors ( www.dnfmotors.com )and I am in need of some pictures of your vehicles for the new upcoming webpage. It's a little dry right now and I wanted to spruce it up with some of the club members rides. I was thinking of doing a "Ride of the month" and having a club members vehicle on the main page. I will also need your name or if you wish to be left nameless I can use a name specified by you. A small bio of model, model year and mods done. If anyone is interested. Email me at DnF_Motors@shaw.ca
I also would like some input of what you would like to see on the site.
    Thanks in advance!

    Dave.

Shouldn't you have cars you've actually worked on? Otherwise you're kind of misrepresenting your business, showing mod lists that you have not actually worked on. Thats just my opinion... but then again I am ethical... j/k

If you had worked on my car I would be glad to help, otherwise I don't think its fair to use images of my work or someone else's to sell your services.

So your saying I'm not ethical?! I wasn't going to imply that I worked on them I was going to showcase club members cars in a different section. I already have a customers rides section. I know I can put TDi Steve's car there if he likes. The owners of the vehicles and club will get full props. Anyways, it doesn't hurt to ask. and I love VW's so what's wrong with showcasing some of Calgary's finest VW's?

No I wasn't making any accusations (thats why I put the "j/k", I was just kidding). I was simply pointing out the possibility that your customers might misinterpret any cars or mod lists on your website, in case you overlooked it in your enthusiasm about dubs. I didn't mean to offend! I just think there is a distinct possibility that if you create a gallery of club members cars, customers on your website might assume that you either helped mod the cars or that DnF is affiliated with newveedub in a different way than you currently are. Even if you clearly stated that they were club cars not DnF customer cars.

Personally I would just as soon have you work on my car than anyone else, I have heard good things.

Thanks for clearing that up. All I want is a cool site with a gallery of cooler cars. All club members input is important to me. I hope to have a long meaningful relationship with the club.

You've sure had a lot of trouble over that website of yours there Volkstech, I hope you get things sorted out (even though I know Kor was not being malicous).

I always hope for some new folks, since they provide interesting conversation and we get to check out their rides!

However, usually about 12 of the regulars show up... in the summer more like 20.

Whenever I see an old lady slip and fall on a wet sidewalk, my first instinct is to laugh. But then I think, what if I was an ant, and she fell on me. Then it wouldn't seem quite so funny.
