  • Exhaust

When I got my car the only thing that really showed up wrong with it was a need for a new Exhaust. I am thinking of picking a new one up with my tax return, any suggestions as to where the best place is to get one, and what system I should get? I want the car to sound nice, but not like a Honda Civic.

      Re: Exhaust

Well Russell you have lots of options for a MK3 VR6 exhaust, from what I hear the best bang for your buck is a Magnaflow system, nice tips and pretty good sound. I think Mopac in Calgary can get them at a good price. It really just depends what you are after but there are lots of choices.

A Supersprint 60mm (2.3in) Sport Comp cat-back exhaust system. Single 60mm polished tip, 12,000 kms on in, perfect condition, sounds and performs AWESOME!!! (for VR6 or 2.0, but better on VR)

        $350 obo

Supersprint cat replacement/ test pipe with 02 bung for OBDII cars. Sames condition and kms as above

        $50 obo

            Re: Exhaust

Supersprint is very pricey so that is a good deal, you should jump on it before someone else does Is it for a Jetta, but I would prefer double tips myself.

Scorpion exhausts sound sweet on a vr6.

                Re: Exhaust

supersprints are good exhausts but i have had mine adjusted three times because it keeps falling down....then i got a custom bracket welded to keep it in place....i would not recomend this exhaust to anyone. go for a magna flow or techtonics
