I remember looking for a local supplier of leds when we were first trying to install the VDO gauge pods and deal with the led burnout issue. I stopped looking when 42DD came out with a new led. The newer leds are of a similar design to ones on the website you posted. So far, its been ok for me.

Those are pretty nice, at first I figured you just needed regular LEDs... which I have over 4000 of at my place
