  • Where to go for VW work...

yeah, I'm in Ottawa -- but I'm asking about shops in Calgary. Aside from my sister, I've got a couple friends in Calgary who routinely get reamed at the Dealer. Mostly, they don't know if they're getting honest work done.

Are there any reccomended garages that a)are honest, b) are perhaps a bit cheaper than the dealership, and c) Don't charge $50 just to look at something (and not fix anything)?

Any comments about DnF? I see a few posts about them. I'm guessing a few VW guru's started it up?

    thanks for the tips...

Yep, I don't know if we are Guru's But we are currently still dealer techs. I am going on the jetta 5 tech course for Tourareg and Phaeton Techs Tuesday and Wednesday in Vancouver. I love working at the dealer but I also love helping people out at DnF. We operate DnF on the side Ghetto Style out of my garage. I am testing the waters so to speak. But we are fully equipped to do just about anything. Honesty is our policy and we are straight up. Why not give us a try?
