Welcome. The first thing that popped into my head when I saw the name of your company was "Did not Finish." I'm sure that doesn't apply to the work you do!

Naw. It's a play on words, DnF Motors goes way back to when I was an apprentice in Ontario. I used to work on Dubs on the side with my Shop foreman. He used to call it DnF Motors. But, it stood for Drink 'n' Fix Motors. Now I'm a foreman and I work with my apprentice we have the same name but it stands for Dave "n" Friends Motors. I can boast that we never had 1 comeback yet in our history of DnF Motors. (I think I just jinxed myself) Thanks for your comment. I guess no one would ever know unless I told them.

Welcome, and greetings from the NVD SoCal chapter
Meetings occur on the first Thursday of every month at the Boston Pizza near the Calgary Auto Mall. You should come out to the WoW though to join up and meet the folks sooner!

PS - On a side note, I really wish people would start putting their real names in their sig. Just makes it easier to remember and get to know people outside of their screen names

Sweet - would be nice to have a smaller shop available for labour. What's your limit on work? Clutches, gear swaps, engine swaps?

We're open to just about anything. We have done clutches, head gaskets, cams ect. The majority of our clients are CVD Members. I just found you guys yesterday! Just ask us what you need done and we'll see if we can hook you up! It doesn't hurt to ask. By the way what's your policy on advertising? I don't wan't to be pegged as a spammer.

No problem, I don't want to cause any $#!+. I offered Blair in the email a $40 per flat rate hour rate for club members and a $55 per flat rate hour charge for non-members. I have yet to hear from him to set something up. I probably will hear from him soon. Anyways that's the deal. I also want to pick and choose who I repair for. If your a dink then, you can go somewhere else. I don't like brain damage. I'm a straight shooter too, I won't sugar coat anything. What it is, is what it is.

Looks like we are well on our way to being a new sponsor for NewVeeDub!

I spoke to Blair and we are ready to rock! I am going to have a banner made to put up on the forum and a DnFmotors.com webpage is being made as we speak.
It's nothing but up from here!

To all club members We offer:
A $40 dollar per flat rate hour charge (We need to see your membership card!).

                              For non members We offer:
A still low $55 per flat rate hour charge.

I will meet you all at the next club meeting to sign up and have a slice or two. Maybe a cool beverage that may contain no less than 5%.
