the people answering their phones are not that helpful

The part numbers listed are the same as the Temro numbers, Call around with thoes numbers. I think the only heater that Crappy tire sells is the 1000W one, I may be wrong.

That is funny, I was just thinking about this the other day for after I ripped off my front valence & the plug for my oil pan heater.

I think I will be looking into this as well

As for the 2L I have no idea, I have only ever done installs on TDI's. As for the heaters, they are awesome. I have one on both my cars. I use a Christmas light programmable timer (heavy duty) and have it turn on 2 to 3 hours before I leave and it is perfect.

I'm for sure going to buy a couple of these. One for the Jetta City, one for the GTI. I just called Northland and they want about $500 for the two heaters! Anyone do this on a Mk4 2.0 or a MkV GTI yet?

Just bought one of these to put on my 2.0L next weekend. The brackets were missing for some reason, but I can make my own no problem.

Also bought a length (6') of heater hose which I doubt will be used entirely, so if anyone wants I can probably make some 2.0L install kits with whatever bracket I end up making.

I'll try to remember to take some pics while I'm at it.
