WRD now shipping to Canada

Just recieved info that WRD in Florida (for those who don't know, they hold the recaro GB's on vortex) will now ship products to canada. Specifically the Recaro seats, for $300US (normally $150 within US), via UPS. Still relatively cheap...I know of 1 set coming to Calgary right now, and waiting to hear about duty and brokerage fees (I was quoted $143cdn at the border)....Order up! BTW, this means if my seats sell for sure, I'm ordering...

thats like a plane ticket lol! they've had those recaros forever, i rather get something in canada, and redo the middles in alcantara, they'll be better and price will be about the same all said and done.

I had an upholstery place quote me something like $700-$800 roughly to redo both my front seats in a custom two-tone leather pattern. They can also alter the shape of the seats slightly by adding bolster pads to the back and seat if they are reupholstering those sections (additional fee). Still, custom seats may end up being cheaper than 2 OEM seats with shipping, and would maybe look better and be more unique/noticable.

Oh, that guy, he was selling those on Vortex, avoided saying they were in an accident but just "ripped", and everyone kept lowballing him, including me (he was selling them with the stitching still torn out)....same deal, same pics, same location....

I like the Sport seats in my GLI, however, the only complaint i have is that they don't go down low enough like the normal factory seats. I might be interested in trading my GLI seats for factory black leather seats plus some cash if the money is right

volinder i'll trade my 03 black heated stock seats for you sports plus like 300 bucks.. mine are in great condition as i got new covers installed on warranty..
