Need wheel ideas: Wheel experts help me!

I am very seriously considering selling my summer wheels if I can decide on a replacement.

So I am enlisting you guys to scour the Vortex and the rest of the web and come up with some ideas for me.

I am looking for an 18" wheel that is < $500US per wheel and is confirmed to weigh less than 20-21 lbs.

I would prefer to stay with the lip / mesh look I have now, but I'd entertain other ideas... probably need some kind of lip on them though, I need it!

The red stripe is supposedly optional... I am not so hot on the "universal" bolt pattern though.

I agree about the stripe. They are a really good looking wheel, but I am not a fan of the unviveral bolt patten. Otherwise really nice.

I really like those rims (minus the red stripe)! How come you're wanting to get rid of the Axis rims? Just craving something new? Don't like the ride of 19 inchers?

I think he's realized how fun his 17's are to drive on and misses the light weight wheels giving him an extra 21 horsepower.

oh, and this is my suggestion: SSR something's 18x10.5 front, 18x13 rear.

Mainly I think the ride is a little too bumpy, and I would like to do some auto-x which I do not think 19's are suited for. The Axis are also heavy, which you can feel a bit under acceleration. It depends on how you drive, I always have the pedal to the floor, so I think maybe light wheels suit me better.

This being said, unless I can find a wheel I like... I am not going to sell them for no reason. Maybe some used DTM's or something from Vortex? The Volks are kinda borderline.

no dtms thats what i'm getting.. actually kris from driving on 15s i really want light weight wheels too.. maybe i'll just get some 19" oz's SLs and be done with it
