    Rules and Banning of Users

    Hi Everyone,

    This is just a friendly warning to all new users.

    We will NOT tolerate any kind of profanity, promotion of hate, anything not suitable for minors, personal insults, inapropriate talk, or intentional thread hijacking/spamming.

    We have already banned 2 user accounts, and we can take stronger action if things don't settle down.

    Note: I absolutely will not ban without a good reason! I have issued warnings beforehand and it takes something very inappropriate such as extreme language before I will ban a user.

    Thanks for keeping this a friendly, family-oriented place.

    Also, we are now banning by IP, and if necessary in the future we can ban new accounts by ISP.

      Hopefully this will bring this site back to what it was created for in the first place... VW cars and VW drivers!

            This place was kind of starting to look like Beyond the other day (shudder). We wouldn't want our beloved leader Blair to turn into a forum nazi like that guy on Beyond!

                This site is open to any people that want to be here, however we just ask that those people participate in a civil and respectful manner. The forum is based in Alberta and has great local ties but that does not mean we are not open to views from other car owners from around the globe. However when these comments become hurtful or slanderous as Kor mentioned they will not be tolerated. If you have something constructive to say by all means post away but use of inappropriate language, images and personal attacks will not be tolerated and you will be banned.

                If anyone is confused or has any questions feel free to send me a PM to discuss.

                  Good! After a strange few days, hopefully things get back ot normal around here.

                      I'm new and it freaked me out enough to take a few days absence and not read the recent posts. Somehow, I dont like the idea of being hacked on by a few people who are clearly here to cause trouble with every post.

                        I feel sorry for the mods right now, shouldn't have to put up with this garbage... all I know is I would be busting out some "banning" beatings.

                            you guys need to be more aggressive with the bannings....don't think about it...just do it
                            This kinda stuff happens eventually when n00b invasions occur. Look at beyond, a couple years ago it was just maybe 100 users on the site....then n00b invasions occured and the stupid post content went through the roof. I miss the good ol days on that site where you could actually read something informative instead of having to filter through all the crap that gets posted. :(
