    Anyone have these?

I'd rather have these than monster mats because I don't want water to run off between the dead pedal and the floor mat to dampen the carpets. Any feedback would be helpful.

Monster mats are good because you can pop them out, hose them down, and put them back in when you're at the car wash.

These mats look like they do cover more of the floor, however I do not think they will hold up to snow, gravel, sand and road salt as well as the thick rubber of the monster mats!

I am also not so sure how well these mats would fit if you have a TT/BeetleS dead pedal.

It may also be a question of cost - how much are those things?

If you install these, maybe take some pics so we can see how well they fit.

Scissors might fix the deadpedal problem? My first winter I used Canadian Tire mats cause I couldnt afford Monster Mats yet. I cut them to fit with scissors.

i spose you could cut them but then your slicing up OEM mats that you could potentially sell if you wanted to..

$9.99 Canadian Tire rubber mats pwn you (the deeper ones...don't get the shiat ones with no depth). real nice fit and they keep all the water in (haven't had a single drop of water "escape" near the dead pedal).

But in theory they should cover the dead pedal so the muck will flow down into the mat right? And the fit over the dead pedal should be exact.

                    Re: Floor Mats

I did the walmart specials and they sucked, slid around, rippled etc. So I sucked it up and bought the monsters - rock the rears year round, and the fronts for the winter (carpets for the summer cause I drive barefoot).

Why don't you steam em yourself? Not too difficult, and won't cost a buttload of money!
