  • New green top sensor

So, I installed a green top coolant temp. sensor in my gti today, and my car seems to run noticebly smoother. I dunno if its my imagination or what. Anyone else have this experience?

Oh, I also broke the plasic clip on the 4-prong plug. Hope the dealer has some in stock.

Updated engine temp sensor. The old one is black, most new cars have the green one. For TDI's the two are blue and green but are not swapable as I found out and took a $40 hit rather then a $10 one

Mine has thrown a few codes - gonna ask them to change it when I get my oil change (since it's warranty). If not I'll pay the few bucks and do it.

total cost is like 12 bucks for all the parts.. very cheap to do considering a footlong sub combo at subway is the same price
