Update: got a call from the bodyshop today. $3300 damage, which is way less than I thought it would be, given how things looked. So that's good news. Only engine damage was a wiped out radiator and no structural damage, phew! Also, the guy I was dealing with was really easy about getting another aftermarket grill. Gave me a credit of $130 against my deductible for the VW grill they would have otherwise ordered, so I called up Concept 1, bought a new grill and got them to courier it to GT. Voila, done. Should hopefully have it back mid next week.

As an aside, I had a kamei badgeless grill but decided to get an FK badgeless to replace it. From the picture on C1's website and from what Curtis was saying, they're identical, and the FK unit is half the price ($130 vs $160).
