The whole point is NOT to crash... they should rate how HARD it is to crash the car not now well the car crashes.

There are a lot of should's in the realm of automotive 'safety' standards. The only one that would really help is we should have better driver training, regular re-tests and a better 'advertised' code of conduct (i.e. pass on the left, slower traffic keep right, don't hold your cell in one hand, a slurpee in the other and steer with your knee...)
