$250 for 32k service???

Holy crap. I just called 5th ave to schedule my 32k km service on my '02 1.8T and they want $250!! So I told them I'd schedule it another time. Since when are service appointments that pricey?

32k is useless.. i went over this a while ago.. i just had my oil changed.... the service is a total ripoff.. if you check the VW website of what they do other than oil is they change your pollen filter (which u can do yourself) and then they check your tires and underbelly pan and brakes and stuff.. WHICH THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO AT EVERY SERVICE regardless of mileage!! so just get the oil done and buy a pollen filter and do it yourself and save 150 bucks

personally i go to northland as they are close to me but they farked up my last 2 services which really bugged me but i complained both times and came out on top with free swag and a free oil change so i won't complain too much

Yeah $250 is ridiculous. I have to do a 32,000 soon. Still liking northland... most of their tech's are cool guys.

I am 465k overdue for my 32k service. I am just gonna do the oil change/pollen filter thing for sure.
