When I first got my ecodes I definitely noticed the improved beam pattern, brightness and even the smoked look.
Now after about a year, I am less impressed. The glass (plastic actually) weathered much poorer than the stock equivalents. Also, moisture inside the lights has been annoying. To be honest, it was not worth the money. I should have either saved for HID's or left them stock (or even done the joey mod).
i never heard of MMP... if you get ecodes, either make sure they are HELLA or VALEO, not FK, or DEPO, or INPRO, etc etc, those are crap. you will be wasting your money if you do.
bart MMP is momentum motor parts (place in BC) they make their own custom smoked ecodes that are hellas but smoked for jettas.. derick has em and they are NICE

Even the Valeo's are not so great IMO. The Hella's are okay quality-wise, but are they better than stock or just as good? If they are not better, why spend $400+ ?
nah dale even retrofit is lame.. you need projectors.. not to mention the cost of GOOD ecodes then a GOOD retrofit kit will be pretty much the cost of OEM HIDs..
Barts HIDS OWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you honestly have to see them in person to appreciate how good they truly are
