I know that NAPA stores carry a lot of autobody supplies and they can match paint as well as put it in a spray can for you.

just do the NAPA thing, you bring in the code, they mix it and squeeze it into a can for you.....its enamel though, which I guess all spray can types are, whereas your car has laquer on it......not a big deal though....

Re: OEM spray cans of paint??

Look in the phone book under auto body supplies. There are a number of places that will put the paint in a can for you. The ads will say "We put paint in spray cans" or soemthing to that effect. Bring your paint code (LA7w for Reflex I think). The place I went was up near the old 5th ave VW shop & they were really good.

I had this done before, and the guy even mixed the paint, and took it out to the car an adjusted it so it matched. Cost about $20 for a can. I also had my choice of enamel (no need for clear coat) or laquer (needs clear coat). They can also add flex agent if you need it for a valence or something.

Calgary Body Shop Supplies, the old Deans body shop, they can put anything into a spray can. It’s just off of 32 Ave.

DON'T get cdn tire paint, or any other paint "off-the-shelf".

These paints don't have hardeners in them, which is what gives them such a long shelf life. After a couple years (and perhaps a few hard washes) the paint will peel off.

Get a reputable paint company to make you a can. It won't last more than a few months on the shelf though, so don't bother stocking up!
