    Re: Rear Sway questions

Ryan this cant be your last mod. Get a new turbo! dont leave that engine deprived.

My only dilemma is getting a 25mm or 28mm. Like honestly I can't see the whopping 3mm in diameter making the 28 stronger, etc but okay.

Now I don't have any aftermarket front sway just the stock which is 23mm and from what I've read on vortex the 25mm rear will complement this perfectly. If i had an aftermarket 25mm front the 28mm rear would be better.

Any opinions before I shell out some money.

oh.. H&R or neuspeed will be the choice.

      Re: Rear Sway questions

Adding the rear bar will load up the inside front tire more and allow more forward traction during lateral loading. A limited slip diff is what you need to stop the inside wheels really lighting up though. That being said, I dont have too many traction issues. Careful use of the throttle, smoothly applying the power as you unwind the wheel works wonders.

At the limit(or very, very near) all 4 tires(especially outside 2) would begin to fail at the same time, rather than progressively understeer more and more until you have no steering!

I did however get the feeling that there was a lot more load being applied to the outside front and you could feel the inside front scrubbing for traction - something that happened before but it wasn't as apparent in the wheel. In fact I suspect that the inside front was now getting a little traction as opposed to non previously.

Maybe my interpretation is screwy but that's what it felt like! Any ideas? Simon? on how to keep that inside front planted?

Winning shows has nothing to do with it being a Jetta or not... just gotta step it up.

              Mmmmm, b6 A4. I like.

Yea, Ryan. All you need is some fresh wheels. You defineatly got one of THE nicest jetta's in town. A little more "lip" couldnt hurt though.

ewwwwwwwwwwwww! i would never rock those even if i got them for free

well this winter i'm deciding on what i want to do with my jetta in the end I might keep it.. if I do decide on keeping it (i love it alot you know) i'm getting some I-forged retro's or HRE's with some nice dish on them in a high polish finish.. finish off the stereo.. try again for some oem recaros.. and this is the crazy part.. possibly repaint the entire car in some crazy color like nagaro blue or something..
