  • APEX springs??

Does anyone know anything on APEX springs.
I'm looking at some for 200 Canadian new.
    They're about a 1.8 drop and for a 2000 2.0L GLS.
I hear that some of the old models were bad at bottoming the car out, but was wondering about recent reviews? Anyone have a clue how these ride?
    Thanks

Bottoming out sounds bad. Are you sure you want to go with a company that can't compute a spring rate based on simple weight?

Simon L can probably cut you a deal on H&R's...

But that being said, a spring is a spring, as long as they use the proper rate and as long as the height is what you are looking for.

Yea I don't know. Apparently it was like 93 where they had a bad year or something, but I don't know if a lot had changed thats why i was wondering. =\ but originally I was planning on sticking with Eibach or H&R, the only thing was this sale was only on until midnight.

Suspension is not something you want to cheap out on. You get what you pay for 100%. I had to find this out the hard way. Learn from my mistake, and get some decent (and proven) springs.

Unfortunately, I cant honestly put my hand on heart and say that you will be happy with just springs. Unfortunately our stock shocks are terribly soft and things get a little bouncy if you do much of a drop. The compression is worst of all and this could be the cause of people bottoming out.

I was referring to those Eibach's.... yecchhh, what a mistake that was. I love the FK's, if i could only have one mod it would be the coilovers without question.

Nope, suspension still takes it. (Plus Phatbox is more of an add-on than a mod)
