Hey everyone,

While I was in edmonton, I needed a project to fill the long boring days. My two cousins and I decided that the xbox in its current black state was quite boring, so we decided to spruce it up a bit.

Looks like you have the executer mod chip too I still haven't got around to finishing mine, plus I have 2 cases.

Yeah we have the xecuter 2.3 lite and a 180 GB Maxtor HD. Its so awsome!

This is my cousins XboX We decided his would be the tester, and it went amazingly well. Im gonna do mine up identical when I get back from TO on the 29th. Im thinking of making the x in the middle light blue or grey tho, but man o man is it gonna look sweet.

I just bought a used Xbox a few days ago. I was leaning towards the xecutor 2.3 but the Xenium Ice has the Samba server which is uber sweet for watching downloaded movies etc. Did you guys buy local (mod-god)?

You don't even need a Mod chip anymore, just an old version of Mech Assault.

A friend of mine is trying it out right now. I told him I wanted to make sure it was reversible before I would do it.

You'll also have to find a version of EVOx too.

Mine already is chipped I installed an old 80 gig from my PC also. I have a local hook up for mod chips if anyone needs them. I was also told about a mod chip for the new 1.6xbox's (the clear ones) that has all types of goodies built in (like being able to replace the cd drive with another HD and easier bios management.)

I think I might mod mine this weekend, especially now that it's free, my friend was able to get it working (once he got the right Mechassault version). He was able to put the dashboard on and a custom Bios, he was also able to save the original so it can be loaded back on if they ever update xbox live. He FTP'd and had full control of everything on the box, it's cool.

There are actually quite a few earlier games that can be used to do it that way. Any game that causes a buffer overrun while saving can be used. It would be a hell of alot easier if anyone made a save card that was bigger then 8meg.
