  • Brake light bulbs

So in the last 2 weeks, I've had a brake light go, a running light go and most recently the brake light strip above the trunk. It kinda makes me worry about the harnesses but for now I just want to see how new bulbs will work out.

Anyone happen to know the info on these bulbs so I dont have to remove those f***in tails twice?

Remove tails? If I remmeber right you bought a golf, so just stick your hand in behind the taillight and pull the bulb housing out as it just clips right in.

Yeah, When I first noticed the brake light out, I tried to pull the housing for the light out but it kept getting stuck and whenever I use force, something expensive ends up breaking . I'll give'r another try later on

Hmm a jetta eh, I would think the bulb housing itself is the same. I think there are little latches so to say on the sides.

Yeah, I saw that as well, and I was pretty sure I would be able to get the housing out from when i removed the tails before but it got caught on what looked like carpet but could have been metal / plastic just as easily from what I could see. Like I said, I dont want to force it because something always ends up breaking.

Anyhow, mike is gonna drive me to buy new bulbs after we take them out of my car later today so I'll let you guys know whats up then.
