Who knows how to do it!!!??????? This thing is thoroughly pissing me off. I'm tired of wrestling with it. I cannot get the turbo end to mate up because of a stupid solid line getting in the way of the lower elbow. Does anyone know how to temporily loosen the solid line? or an easy way to install this beotch?

Re: Samco TIH Install
well if you have the stock one off i assume your not driving lol.. you'll need to get teh front end jacked up on stands.. the hard coolant lines are sorta in the way.. you can sneak it past them if you lube up the outside of the hose with WD40 or something like that. then just slipp'er down there.. as for the turbo seriously neil take the wifes car and go grab a Tbolt clamp cuz a normal hose clamp sucks for it you'll tighten it and the hose will start coming off the turbo! its annoying as hell.
oh kinda takes 2 people one to push the hose down and at an angle while the other is under the car fitting it to the turbo.. PS remove that plastic curved white sheild dealy cuz it'll cut you up..
i dunno PM me for more help and i will try my bestLast edited by R_Ethug; 07-29-2004, 07:16 AM.

Re: Samco TIH Install
Well, the damn thing was installed this morning. The trick was definately having two people work on it. One from above, pushing down and one from below pulling on the thing and guiding it. It took all of 5 minutes to get the hose to mate up to the turbo end (vs. 5 hours and no dice by myself). The next bastardly part was getting the plastic dv "looking thing" on the hose. The hole is WAY too small for the part. A lot of spit and swearing did the trick though.
