My most recent kill: 2002 Ford Crown Victoria. Smoked it from a standstill up until 100km/h. He caught up to me and issued me a $264 ticket, but hey, a kill's a kill, right!?
Strictly speeding, actually. I was going up the hill on 17th Ave off of Sarcee and had no idea the cop was behind me. Apparently the speed limit there is 60, and in the cop's words I was doing 'well over 100'. doesn't seem likely but whatevs.
I also don't think he appreciated me interrogating him for his badge number, name, and contact information. He seemed really surprised when I asked HIM for his badge and identification after he had given me back my insurance and licence.
Yeah I got pulled over today and got me a nice $230 worth of fines.
Wasnt wearing seatbelt: 115
My address was wrong on license, (right one was on insurance + registration): 115
Nice to see my tax dollars hard at work, you know, cops on the prowl for the scum of the universe: people who dont like seatbelts! Sucks for my passenger too, he was seatbelt-less and has like, 10 failure to produces on his license because his thug brother gives the cops my buddies information haha. Fun fun hassles.
/f*ck the police

You get 115 bux for wrong addy on the licence?????? Thats so bogus!! I've never had the correct addy on mine, and I don't feel like paying another $40 + bux for another licence, seeing how they don't issue correction stickers anymore....I'd fight that to the death, he was being an ass!

Last I heard the fine was only $85 but good to know I don't move often. As for the seatbelt well really there is no good reason to not wear one at all so you are on your own on that one.

Yeah, I know Im hooped for the seatbelt, and I usually do wear one, was running errands and had to go like a block and a half to get to the next store.
$115 for wrong addy is totally ****, Im gonna just go in there, move the court date so hopefully the cop doesnt show up, then tell the judge that Im a student and can't afford to pay that much for a farkin seatbelt ticket ($230 total fines, right?)I know countless people that get out of fines with that excuse, even tho Im not a student it should work. Espically looking as young as I do
edit: Is it true they don't issue correction stickers anymore? They make you get the "new style" license?! Cause then Ill fight the crap out of it for sure.
doesnt beat my $345 illegible drivers license ticket (+ $120 for speeding).
The license was old, tattered, and due to be replaced in 3 months. Cop first wanted to give me invalid insurance, but I had given him an old pink card. I had the right one with me luckily.
End result? Negotion with the Crown Proscutor netted me a total of $85 + 2 demerits. Illegible license got thrown out altogether. Not bad eh?
Yeah, I gather that my wrong addy ticket will be thrown out, but im still stuck with the $115 which I dont mind paying. I just hate the fact that a cop pulls me over for something stupid in the first place, then gives me every fine he could have (all mods are legal, front 2 windows were down before he even saw my car).
Anyways, Im taking it as a $230 loss wether I get $115 back or not. Then Ill just go blow the $115 on something stupid, like a composite hockey stick

I was once given a $35 ticket for having expired insurance cards in my car. The cop was totally playing the age discrimination game that day, I was 18 driving my girlfriend to work, a 2 block trip, he pulled me over and gave me a tint ticket, and mandatory removal of tint and come to the station and prove it citation, an expired insurance ticket, and a ticket for having a plastic clear cover over my licence plate, plus he kept me there for nearly an hour. I was not a happy person that day

Yeah, some cops should be stabbed but there are definatly cops on your side sometimes...when your a girl.
But I have been let go twice in my day ,once he got me doing 120 in a 70 zone (deerfoot construction). Lucky for me, the cops were on strike when that happened
Other one was I got pulled over for, um, smoking. and he just told me to leave my car where it was (I had pulled into a shopping center parking lot when the cherries went) and find a new way home. I walked about 200yards, turned around and drove to my buddies place to finish our fun.
Edit: The first was in a 91 accord, the second in an 00 jeep. I think my car is gonna catch me alot more crap with the fuzz, I feel bad for you young GTI drivers now!!
