  • 4 motion front valence

I couldn't get through to concept1 on the phone (?) but I see on their website that they have the 4-motion front valence (Jetta) for $140 (Cdn).

Anybody here put this on their mk4? Looks like I'm going to have to order one (what are the odds I can get a NVD discount even if I live in Ottawa? :P )

I bought one from C1, and installed it not too long ago. I like the look of it over the stock one, but I wish that I had held out for the GLI one. Install was a little more trouble than I originally thought, but it went on.

Are there 2 different parts for the 4-motion valence on the Golf vs Jetta? I'm 90% sure this is the case, but if they are interchangable, I'll take the 4-motion off your hands so you can buy the GLI Andrew!

PS - did you get those springs on yet?

No get the damn 4 mo one. I ordered a GLI one.

But seriously speaking, if you want to put a valence on your car this summer, order a 4mo . The GLI ones are on huge backorder all over NA right now (from what I've heard...)

My gli valence just got painted - looks like there's gonna be a few more.

                Re: 4 motion front valence

the gli valence comes unpainted, correct?
So even though my car is black, I'd have to get the valence painted black to match....it does look great though! I did call the dealership earlier though and it's on backorder everywhere (guess we're not the only ones with this brilliant idea ) I can see the price skyrocketing as soon as VW realizes "hey! there's a market for this!"

I'm on a budget so if I could score the 4-motion one, I'll be happy!

The 4 motion valence is different for the Jetta & the Golf/GTI, so they are 2 different parts. I have the Jetta one, which is not interchangable with the Golf/GTI. Too bad.

As for the springs, I have not installed them yet. I have been comtemplating the Jetta's future, and have been thinking about a Jetta wagon in the next year or so. I have been really diggin on the modded wagons lately.

As well, I have been too busy to even think about putting them in. With the yard, deck building, pouring concrete my weeks are pretty much taken up. To make things even more chaotic, I now have 5 weddings to go to before September.

I cant even make the meetings, or Das Volks.
