golf emblem

hi, just wandering, does anybody know how to take off the VW emblem on the bootlid on golf MK4? can i do it from outside or i have to open the doortrim?

any input will be appreciated.

I believe it is just on with adhesive, so it can be done from the outside. However you must remember there is an indent underneath if you are thinking of debadging. Simon on the boards I think took his off and color matched the black portion which looks really good in my opinion.

just get some fishing line and stick it behidn the black plastic part of the badge and pour in some goo-gone to soften the glue, pull down slowly, it comes right off.
