Ah, might have to loosen the purse strings if this heat keeps up.
Someone should just find out how much it costs to have someone make you one... I know on Vortex lots of people just get tanks and piping welded onto whatever junkyard cores they can dig up.

Hmmm... yeah, no kidding. When you think about it, air to air intercoolers are one of the simplest components.

okay well this is what i want for my car..

FMIC- horizontal core.. yea yea i dont' care about the performance it will work better than the stock
2nd - polished aluminum! like super bling
3rd- must fit with minimal cutting under the rebar and behind the centre pzwo openings
4th- piping.. must have chrome, ceramic coated, or high polished aluminum piping

so far the ATP is really good for the above but i don't like thier map sensor hookup but i guess it works.. can anyone here (sean??) make custom pipes for a FMIC?

I like Geoff's diy mod. Anyone go the swiss cheese airbox route? Dremmel out the airbox baffles and drill a bunch of holes in the bottom.

We need to get a group buy happening for fmic's.

I would seriously consider a fmic for a good price

well i've gotten my choices down to 3 models
Greddy Type 28 core (never available always sold out so fark it)
ATP standard core with bling piping.. works well some pipes are wierd but whatever and can buy it local
new eurojet.. proven to work.. better piping than the ATP but right now all sold out from GB..

i might just honestly go down to C1 and pick up the ATP one and be done with it

i would do it up.. if i hate some of their piping i can always get a custom piece made from a shop..
