  • Diverter Valve? TurboXS h25 vs Forge

I was wondering which one of the above DV's were better? I also would like the louder one. I was also wondering what the difference was among the different forge models 006, 007, DVR, and which one of them is better? thanks

The Forge 007 and 007A are pretty much the exact same, just with the top nipple on the side, so it can fit better under the engine cover. ALot of people with the 007 say the hose rubs on the cover and can eventually wear.

        007A

Cool thing about the 007A is that the top portion can be rotated 360° for custom fit and to make sure nothing hits.

        007

The 006 is basically just a bigger version of the 007. Holksvagon here has it, and its a bohemeth, you'll have a hard time fitting it underneath your engine cover. It's supposedly louder than the 007 because of this.

        006

All three of the above are based on a piston setup, while the DV-R (racing) is a diaphragm system. Personlly I don't know which is better, nor do I care. I use the 007 and its fine by me. Supposedly the 007 was specifically designed for our engines, thats why its smaller. The diaphragm system is superior because it doesnt require maintenance (piston requires annual re-greasing) and apparently a faster response. You can also get the DV-R w/ a sidemounted rotating nipple like the 007A.

All of these can be custom tuned with different springs though so you can fool around till you get one you like.
