As the title said, I'm looking for springs and I am wondering what people suggest in the way of brand and ammount of drop. I used the FK Hi-tec springs/struits in my old GTI but I'm looking for a little better ride quality

Well FK is still not a bad choice but in light of all the problems these days, it maybe smarter to go with someone else. H&R is always a good choice and Simon at EU Tuning can probably get you a good price!!

One more thing to consider. With the TDI (as with my VR6) the car is going to sit a little higher in the rear than the front due to a heavier engine. If you want a level drop, the only kit I know of is the FK, or coilovers. If you don't mind a little bit of rake, H&R or Eibach would both be excellent choices.
