Stolen 2003 VW Jetta! Be on the outlook please

Just happened this afternoon. My buddie had his silver 2003 Jetta stolen in Calgary at a south mall. Very pretty car with BC plates. Anyone see it, call the cops quick please! Was probably towed by a tow truck or flatbed.

Wow, they must have towed it or some such as I don't know how one would get a VW with the goofy keyfob hotwired.

i was gonna say it woulda had to have been towed or pushed down the street in N with no ebrake cuz with the IMOB its impossible to steal a VAG car.. nice car btw.. mike said he saw it last year but i will keep an eye out.. might want to post on beyond too..

Well I wish them luck finding the car, but that is how my old 337 got stolen, the new owner left the Valet key in the glove box. Was it taken from Chinook or South Centre?

It was taken from South Centre Mall. No keys in the car. Just broke in to throw it in neutral and had to have it towed.

Too bad this isn't a CrimeStoppers type thing. I could sure use $2,000!!

I can't believe its worthwhile for car thieves to actually use a truck to tow a car. Wouldn't it be easier to just pick a car you can quickly speed off in without drawing attention? A Jetta is really not that valuable.

Latest Update: Car found dumped and stripped in farmers driveway at 3:00am this morning in Okotoks area.
