costs quite a bit... (downside)
no surging with stock dv/n75 at any throttle rate (upside)
makes car fast (upside)
still drive like a pussy so i get good mileage (upside)
ability to switch programs in 2 seconds (upside)
V-tune software adjustments (very cool upside)
good software just quite a large chunk of change for it

I honestly have nothing bad to say about the APR programing. Love the power increase and have no surging at all. I like being able to switch back to stock for dealer trips and that it was DPP so that nothing potentially could have been damaged when the ECU was open. Ken at C1 has been excellent with the support of this product and as well as the staff at APR headquarters. It is a lot of money, but IMO it is worth it.

Well, I'm not an APR owner so I can't tell you anything useful in that respect.
But, as an APR victim I can say for sure that you should get it. That's right, APR victim. I raced Ryan the other night on a 2km uphill charge..... and I got severely owned
Curse you APR!...... Until I get one that is hahaha
I got the trial and I didn't think too much of it. I mean it's quicker when you stomp on it of course, but I don't stomp all that much (even going 1/2 throttle I find I fly by most people anyway).
Course my trial only lasting 2 hours (I kept track) might have something to do with me not getting a chance to give it a real workout.
All that said I'll probably still buy it sooner or later just for the different programs and the vtune (since I have a laptop/vag). Otherwise I'd look at Upsolute. Plus I just dropped 1000 on a stupid deck railing. :(

Look at it this way, atleast you won't fall off your deck now and hurt yourself. Then you wouldn't be able to drive your car at all

I got a bonus and paid out for some holiday money when I left work - so I'm looking at low end 944s, or maybe a chip/kit for the car - but then the warden says:
1000 for railing
1750 for fence
2500 for sprinklers/loam
600 for sod
Who knows what else....
= No money for car stuff?
Horrendous. There are some things you just don't want to buy, but like everything else the wife says you must.
Her leverage? TV, computer, wheels, tires, suspension, exhaust, Vagcom, Samco, Exhaust, Home theater speakers, Ryan's stereo, tools, GLI valence - yah, she's got enough leverage.
But I'm still gonna get a chip this season somehow.

I told my semi-wife that we were going to get the REVO trial flashed in just to see what it was like. Then hid the credit card I put it on for as long as I could.
