New 2004 Jetta Trunk Lid

So this is rumored to be the new 2004 Jetta trunk lid with built in spoiler, very nice!

Looks nice! it is not really noticeable enough to buy a whole trunklid for and in 2004 every 16 year old chick in a 2.0 Jetta will have one so I wouldn't touch it. I like the M3 Style lip spoiler.

It's not going to be spoiling anything with no upturned portion... it's less of a spoiler and more of a ledge. It's looks nice though...



I'm more interested in the tail lights...

I've confirmed the info above with a reliable source. The new trunklid will appear on 2004 Jettas.

Here's a picture from the Vortex of the subtle updates on the Jetta. The chrome accents look really good on it in my opinion.

Ian can you confirm whether the chrome strips will appear on Jetta Wagons for 2004 I have heard mixed reviews on this one.

Confirm, no. But I have heard that they will be standard on all 2004 Jetta and Jetta Wagon models. I've got an e-mail into my source right now...

Awww. I wanted a Passat so much when I saw the chrome accents on the 2001.5 and up models. Now I get to see Jettas with the chrome accents...

Edit: Although, I notice no accents around the windows... speaking of tail lights, what do you think of the "LED" style tail lights on the Infiniti G35? I think they look quite cool.

Thanks for checking that out Ian, I would assume if the Jetta sedan is going to have them logically the wagon would too. Well I was thinking about getting a diesel wagon in the fall for my winter/daily/project car and not sure on the look of the chrome strips, but in black with Mercedes wheels slammed

LED tails are cool, but companies need to be consistent, some put LED brake lights but standard turn signals.
