    Thanks Bart for the help!

I logged the 002 code for the MAF, but was wondering how I can tell if my MAF is bad? Is there a reading im suppose to look for?

The only way to tell if the MAF is bad I think is if it throws codes repeatedly. I think there is actually a code that says "Bad MAF" or something like that??

Anyhow, you can also just take the MAF housing out of the car, and look at the sensor... supposedly you can really tell when it is going because it will be BLACK and covered in gunk. You can even try cleaning it.

You'll get lean codes with a dead maf. If your maf is on the way out, I'll have a dip at 4000 rpm in the power band from timing getting pulled, and your g/s air flow readings in that block will be less than they should be... cant remember whats normal though, I think 160 but I might be wrong.
