Hey Chris,
I just wanted to give you a quick update on your car. First of all, you commission # is E90936. This is the number attached to the vehicle before it is assigned with a VIN#. Secondly, the production process begins tomorrow, 03/27/2003, the shipment process from factory should be 04/09/2003 and dealer delivered by 05/26/2003! Now, I have been told by the high uppers that the car will be here on time however we all know VW and its delivery dates. Lets just keep our fingers crossed!

Even though May 26th isn't really that far off, I'm pretty sure that I will need to invest in more underwear as Peter's right - I pee my pants with excitement pretty much on an hourly basis.

..... :eek: thats awhile away. Chris I don't want to take your car from you right away if you can't get your new one till May...thats about 2 months!. Call me too so we can set out a deal and whatever! I already got a system and new alarm for it . Graham set my up good, I spent $4979.73 at future shop . My Grandpa gave me the credit card.....

Oh and if you do want the car right away, let me know. I'm sure I can work something out for transportation between now and May.

lol..i told graham that i was worried i would rattle the **** out of the car. he said it should be ok, if not i have to dyna it. but the system is going to be loud! i got a comp star for it to its in safe hands chris. the deck alone cost me 800 or something like that.

Back ON topic - Derek, I was wondering how many days do new cars typically stay at the dealership for PDI, and whatnot after they have been delivered?

Also, would it be untowrads of me to sleep over in the lot to gaurd my car once it comes in? hahah Dont want anybody taking it out on joyrides before me!

Hey Chris,
The length of time the car is on the lot for PDI etc kind of varies on time of the month, how many sold cars there are etc. I will promise you however that as soon as it gets here (which better be after mine )I will make sure it get s pushed through as quick as possible...Oh yeah, by the way, sleeping on the lot is out of the question
