    So I was browsing on vortex and there were some posts about adjusting the wastegate linkage arm to get more top end boost. I have revo 4 bar, 3" DP with test pipe, magnaflow catback, CAI, etc. and when I plot requested vs actual boost, the actual is always about 2 psi less than requested. Especially over 5000 rpm.

    Anyone here every mess with wg linkage?

    Its a bad idea with the factory wg controller. Its not meant to be adjustable as far as I know. I am pretty sure some people on Vortex have killed their turbos doing this.

    There is a Forge motorsports K03/K03Sport aftermarket wg controller available, with linkage and you can get different springs. I think its about 170US. I would suggest doing that if you are going to mess with it, thats why Forge made it.

    One other thing is that when the program was developed, they may have been aware that the actual boost would be 2psi less than what they requested, and so they requested 2psi more than they thought your turbo could deliver.

    There are lots of ways you can push your turbo to and past its limits. Manually controlling the pressure to the wastegate controller is probably a safer and easier direction, either with a regulator, bleed, or pressure-relief valve. At least if you did do this, there is plenty to read about it since many others have tried before.
