AHHH Boost is Back!!!

Well as some of you might have known I was having problems with my boost levels. I was'nt even spiking it was a nice gradual curve up to 14 psi then nothin almost like it was struggling.

I was checking my codes and found the DTC and Hard CEL saying it was "Catalyst Threshold Below Effiency" I went to Peoples VW in GrandePraire and they fixed it without even looking at my car so it must be a common occurance. 1500 for just the CAT... I looked at the Bill and said just put it on VW's account... Oh am I glad I have warranty.

So if you through this code I would seriously recomend you get your car looked at.

so it WAS your cat... Hard limp... that explains so many of my problems last year. I had a bad O2 sensor, and I ended up this way.

you know, I still think the best way to fix this would have been to get an aftermarket DP/Cat Combo.

Ya but this was FREE and it wasnt in Limp just wouldnt boost over 14psi like someone shoved a Banana in my exhaust

i have the same problem..

except for 3 days last week it was normal, but went back to 14psi this week.

check your codes if you can and if the Catalyst code comes up then theres your problem
