Coilpacks are fun!! not

Driving home today at about the university my car started getting hella jerky and I was like WTF. .the CEL started flashing so i'm thinking umm WTF!! then i remembered the coil pack symptoms so luckily i was 2 minutes from northland.. OMG the car was driving like a lawnmower it was so funny but i got it into NL.. they had me in/out in 40 minutes with the new coils no questions asked. i even switced myself to stock mode in the lot before driving into the service bay.. over all thumbsup to northland for being so fast and nice to me

my salesman also showed me a new GLI .. OMG those cars are freaking beautiful.. i almost traded mine in lol

You have a 2003 - so what revision of coil did you have replaced? And what revision did they give you? Definately keeping my spares in the back yeesh.

I took mine in, and apparently mine were already replaced, but it was idling rough and hesitating under WOT........oh well, I need to clear my codes sometime.....

umm the work order said J packs.. i dunno what the oldies were.. oh well.. apparantly only 1 was bad but it made my car have like 5HP lol

Mine went on my 2003 and the car felt like ****. It was difficult to reach 60km/h. Went to N/L and they fixed em' quickly too.

well they should 'never' go but the coils had an issue that is now fixed so thats why they went dead as for MAFs some come flaky and some are rock solid..

And avoid driving with a bad coil if you can. That horrible smell is all that gas going into your cat.
