What suspension are you running?

I'm curious what different club members are using. Looks like C1 won't have the fk kits in for at least another 3 weeks (probably longer). Anyone who's planning to come to the meet this Thursday, I'd still love a ride in someone's car who's running coils, neuspeed 1.7, Apex 1.7, or the FK highsport kit. I'm looking for a 1.5-2" LEVEL drop on my VR6. From what I've seen most kits for the VR6 use the same springs as the 1.8t and will put my nose lower than the rear.

Thanks again to Simon and Bill for taking me for a short spin in their cars at the last meeting.

I have H&R coilovers in my VR6. I like it, but it is very stiff.

Gonna be at the meeting on Thursday? I don't mind stiff, but everyone has a different definition. I'd love a short ride in it if you're going to be there

I doubt I'll be there this thursday... as I'm heading down to Edmonton for a wedding on thursday morning. If you want a ride though... just let me know when works for you and I'm sure we can arrange something.

Ill most likely be there as well, and Im running H&R Coilovers on my 1.8t. They are pretty stiff in comparison to some of the FK kits that Ive riden in, but Im pretty happy with them. If you want a ride, lemme know, I think Im the only brown dude in the club, you cant miss me at the meet

Yes, talked to them on the phone around 2:00 Monday afternoon. They said they had no idea when FK NA was going to get some in, but because they do high enough volume, the ordered 3 or 4 pallets from FK Germany. He said at least 3 weeks to get here.

Yeah, I was looking at this setup as well. My only reservation is that with the VR6 engine it's going to sit half an inch lower in the front than the rear. H&R doesn't make different springs for the VR6/TDI, so I'm guessing only the 1.8Ts will sit level with this setup.

Grrrrrr.....I'm PO'd aswell (surprise surprise...), I called today and they gave me no indication.....sucks when they've already got the money......I was told 1 week when I purchased everything......I wanted this stuff in so I didn't feel totally unmodded for FFH, but god knows whats happening now.........I think I'm on a rant day.....

I was skeptical at best that my stuff would be here in time. You're still more than welcome to come install your kit in my garage
