    Just Got Revo'd!!

    so i did the 5hr trial last week (seemed way shorter) and thought it was insane. the car was transformed into a beast.

    so i did it and got the 4bar w/sps3 this week. it is freakin' amazing!! i love driving my car even more now. damage was $1221 with the 4bar fpr and the nvd discount.

    i have it set for LB9,T2 (i think i'm being quite conservative, although i can only get 91 octane) but the pull is amazing. i boost at 20psi till about 4500rpm. then it drops to about 15psi from 4500-5500 and then slowly drops to 10psi to redline. is this what you guys are getting?

    i haven't seen any sort of surging from the guage. i currently have a forge 007 and stock N75.

    This is my boost graph when Ryan and I did a data log. For some reason, my gauge shows higher boost than what the Vagcom logged. I have since re-installed my stock N75 valve and your numbers seem similar to mine.

      what gear? All my gears show different boost readings.

          hmm..good. looks like i'm boosting at about the right amount. i'll probably try running hb2 t3or4 and see what kind of numbers i get.

          since i have a catback exhaust and an autotech intake, will that make a difference as to the boost that i should be getting? should i be holding 20psi longer?

          also, have you guys noticed any changes to fuel consumption with the 4 bar? stock i typically get about 550-600km (70%hwy 30% city) before the light comes on. and since i've got the 4 bar, the light just came on at 550km. and this was with several "spirited" runs up to 190km/h and lots of jackrabbit starts. i'm amazed at how quickly and easily we can get up to 190 now. and it just seems like there is still more pull past that.

            I have 'heard' that with the 4 bar Revo there is still a lot of pull at 230 - 250 km/h.

            That's just a rumour I have 'heard'.

            On my last tank I got 515 when the light went on. Pretty much the same as the pre-chip mileage, and pre-chip and post-chip I have a very lead foot.
