Hey Everyone,
I recently imported a 2002 V6 4Motion and really love it. I went to pass the out of province inspection and it had a slew of codes stored to the point where the mechanic was throwing his hands up - so it was not passed. My fear is that they are mostly legacy codes that have never been cleared. So, I would like to clear them and see what issues are truly present. That said, I would also like to investigate a few other nuances I have discovered since I bought the car...
The coolant gauge sometimes works on the dash, but often not. I suspect it is the green coolant sensor, but I have read a VAG COM can discern this? Also, my rear left power door lock and power window do not work - I suspect broken wires in the harness from the body to the door, but I have read that the VAG COM can tell you if it is the door micro switch or not? Anyway, if someone would be so kind as to help me with this I would greatly appreciate it! Happy to pay in beer!
