  • APR DPP review from C1

Well today I just said whatevs and went down after lunch and got a 3program setup. I have 91/93/stock changes are made via cruise control buttons and I can download V-tune to custom change timing/boost as i wish
total damage was 1030 after tax for it all plus a free apr shirt. I was the virgin car lol but Ken was super psyched to see me come in
currently no NVD applies as its coming from APR but ken is going to find out and if so give me credit.

Review-- STUPID traffic!!! got a sorta test lol.. spikes to 21/22 i think but had to keep my eyes on the road.. going golfing tonight so then i'll get a good test.. but so far no surging whatsoever with half throttle wussy driving.. boost comes on insane.. samco, cai, exhaust and APR is hella fast!! i swear i'm gonna get a ticket this week I can't wait to fill up with 94 and see how it drives then

mods needed to go with chip tho..

I can get these awesome DV's if you are interested.

            http://www.stratmosphere.com/hyperboost.htm

The retail is $215 CAD, these are high end DVs, I can get cheaper ones but I think for the person who goes all out...

As usual, club discount will apply and will make it $195

Hyperboost just as good as the forge - nice! Does it fit under the engine cover? I can't remember.

Nice stuff. Hey what is your boost holding at? after the spike?

I was getting some weird boost readings today. In 4th I spiked to 21 and held at 19 for a little while... first time its ever done that. Maybe its the hotter weather?

Does the $1030 give you the PIN option for changing programs to stop prying eyes from changing the program or seeing if you are chipped?

whats that i've never heard of that.. APR and REVO are both are empty data blocks on the ECU so the dealer can flash and it shouldn't harm it at all.. Ken said if by chance they do flash me just to bring it back and they'll do it again for free..

I was under the impression that with the APR programs you could create a PIN which would only allow you to change the program that way when you went to the dealership they could not change the program to see if you are chipped.

That is what I gathered from reading this. Is that not what the security lock out feature does?

ahh no ken never mentioned it to me nor i never knew about it.. no biggie.. i'm the only person who is driving the car so.. Ken said they were looking into getting 100 octane barrels or finding somebody who sells it because then i'll get a 100 mode added ontop and then put 10L of that in for race city

Wow! sounds great, I am really excited for C1 to have APR and I am saving up already. I need some more power to be able to turn my brocks.
