mikey for the throttle body cleaning i was gonna try until i read up on it.. you can only really clean 1/2 of it with a DBW because if you open the little flappy since its controlled electronically you'll wreck it and its like 800 for a new one the DBC guys can go nuts on thiers though.. try different gas to get ride of the idle dip.. mine rarely does it anymore since there isn't crappy winter gas floating around
Car got fixed up today and no idle problems .... knock on wood.
Ahh it becomes clear, did you go to Northland, tell them that they had to fix your idle problem, then thats when they suggested your engine was modded?

One of the service manager type person told me they wouldnt fix or look at my car.
The fix is another story.
And it wasnt free. muahahah bah.
because you have an intake/exhaust/DV? thats odd. but then again, 5th ave once told me to never bring my old car bac kbecause it was too modded. (intake/lowered)
Well, I can see why they wouldn't want to (for example) replace MAF if you have a CAI installed...
aftermarket intakes cause broken MAF's, of course they're gonna charge you for it. I had a broken MAF in my old 2.0 and put my stock intake back and they replaced it for free though but dont tell them!
