  • Key Fob Battery

Last night on my way home from watching the flames game, my key worked to unlock the car but once I got home it wasn't working for me to lock the door.

I'm was assuming its the battery ('cause the light doesn't blink), so I was curious as to how long everyone else battery has lasted. Mine has lasted less then a year.

Wow, as I was typing this message I thought I should take my key apart to see if anything was suspect. When I put it back together again, everything worked fine.

    Strange.

Question still stands though. Has anyone changed the battery in their key and how long did the old one last?
    huh?

I changed one of mine within about a half year of getting it. I think I must've had the button continually pressed when I went skiing one time. Changed the battery and all was good.
