Ok so I went to a tire place and got my 18's put on. About a block away I had to turn right to get onto the main road and I hear this horrible THUMP THUMP THUMP noise the whole time I'm turning. Then I come to a stop, and when I go again I hear that noise that the brakes make when you're sliding on ice.. ya know the crunching noise. It occurs during the entire first gear, and the traction control light is flashing on and off, and the ABS light even comes on for a while. Started the car a few times since then and the crunching traction control doesnt happen all the time, but the THUMP THUMP THUMP occurs with every turn I make, left and right.
My thinking is that when the car was on the hoist, perhaps a sensor came out of its socket, or a wire was frayed, thus causing the traction control problems. But what I don't know whats wrong is with the thumping whenever I make a turn. The car was PERFECT with my 15's on, what could have happened?
someone help plz.
